DESCRIPTION:The HellasQCI project announces the 3rd Training Event “Quant
 um Key Distribution (QKD) and Cyber Security” which will be held on Sept
 ember 4-5\, 2024 in Heraklion\, Crete\, Greece. The Training is organised 
 by the European co-funded project “HellasQCI – Deploying advanced nati
 onal QCI systems and networks in Greece”\, coordinated by the National I
 nfrastructures for Research and Technology (GRNET)\, operating under the a
 uspices of the Greek Ministry of Digital Governance.\n\nThe purpose of thi
 s event is to train the new generation of engineers in quantum technologie
 s and cybersecurity\, allowing Greece and other countries to be ready for 
 the operation of the European Quantum Communications Infrastructure – Eu
 roQCI. The training focuses on Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) systems\, Cy
 bersecurity and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) issues.\n\nThe event is su
 itable for cybersecurity professionals\, computer scientists and engineers
 \, as well as students\, researchers and academics working in the fields o
 f optical and quantum technologies. The event will feature presentations f
 rom National Quantum Communications Infrastructure (NatQCIs) Projects from
  across Europe.
