– Arrival at Skinakas Observatory: 6:30 PM
– Departure from the Observatory: 8:00 PM
– Arrival in Anogeia: 8:25 PM

– Return to Heraklion: 11:30 PM
Visit Schedule
- Departure from FORTH:
– The official program ends at 4:00 PM. After a relaxing discussion and a coffee with a view of the observatory, we will depart from FORTH at 5:00 PM.
– There will be a bus providing free transportation for the registered participants from FORTH to Skinakas.
– Travel time from FORTH to Skinakas Observatory: Approximately 1.5 hours.
- Arrival at Skinakas Observatory:
– We will arrive at 6:30 PM and have time for a tour of the site.
– We will see the telescopes and the HellasQCI facilities.
– We will have the opportunity to take photos with the sunset view, which is at 7:40 PM.
- Departure from the Observatory:
– We will leave the mountain at 8:00 PM and arrive in Anogeia in 25 minutes.
- Dinner in Anogeia:
– Dinner at the Ta SKALOMATA tavern in Anogeia.
- Return to Heraklion:
– We will depart from Anogeia at 10:30 PM and return to Heraklion around 11:30 PM.
Cost
– There is no cost for the visit and dinner.
