NCSR Demokritos is a self-governing research organization under the supervision of the Greek Government (the biggest research centre in applied sciences and engineering in Greece). The Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications of NCSRD  Visit Website , specializes in cutting-edge technologies, including AI, IoT, 5G, cybersecurity and advanced computing algorithms. The partnership with HellasQCI is highly valuable to NCSRD, enabling mutual exchange of expertise in telecommunications, cybersecurity, quantum technologies, and standardization. NCSRD supports HellasQCI by:

• Fostering cooperation and knowledge exchange with other EuroQCI members (WP2). 
• Standardization Leadership: As a member of CEN/CENELEC JTC22, NCSRD leads HellasQCI’s standardization efforts (WP3: T3.4).
• Securing Telecommunications Infrastructure: Deploying a QKD-secured network for Alexandra Hospital systems (WP3 and WP4), enhanced by PQC algorithms, leveraging insights from the OPENQKD project.
• Promoting Quantum Training: Using KMunit’s expertise in AI-driven training and e-learning platforms to advance HellasQCI’s training initiatives in quantum technologies (WP5).
• Dissemination and Industry Engagement: Leading dissemination and exploitation (WP6) through established networks.

This collaboration strengthens NCSRD’s leadership in quantum technologies while contributing to the success of HellasQCI.
