Event Overview
On 5th December 2024, Dr Homer Papadopoulos, Functional Researcher in NCSR Demokritos and Dissemination Coordinator of HellasQCI participated in the PRISM Quantum Week, at the University of Malta, Valletta Campus, under the auspices of PRISM EuroQCI to explore advancements in the sector of quantum communications.
Dr. Homer Papadopoulos highlighted the key features of the HellasQCI project and the QKD-PQC validation trials, alongside representatives from the National EuroQCI projects in Austria (QCI-CAT), Portugal (PTQCI), Romania (RoNaQCI), and Spain (EuroQCI Spain).
Attendees gained access to insightful talks, engaging discussions, and networking opportunities with representatives from: European Commission, Airbus, ETSI, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Huawei, LuxQuanta, QTI SRL, Toshiba, and AUREA Technology
This wide-range of representatives constituted an excellent opportunity for HellasQCI to discuss advancements and challenges in quantum-secured communications with key quantum technology stakeholders and enhance collaboration.
